We have a very limited number of premium pitches with Electric Hook Up (x4) these are booked via a separate email. Premuim Pitches have a coin meter and take £1 coins Sorry not available for tents .
Payment is Cash or Cheque (Made payable to B Smith)on arrival. There are no deposits.
We accept everyone, as long as they respect the other campers and the site. Please book each family/ car arriving individually through the bookings page so that we can ensure that every arrival has a proof of booking to show to reception.
We do not have set pitches so cannot reserve you a space. It is the responsibility of the first arrivals in your group to find a space to accommodate you. We are a large campsite and try to avoid over crowding so camping together shouldn’t be a problem.
Fire drums and wood are available to hire from site. All fires must be in our drums. Fires must be raised, contained and supervised at all times. Bricks are available to prevent scorching of the grass. We have worked hard to increase the wildlife at the Foxholes for your enjoyment, please do not take wood from hedgerows even if it has been cut as it is natural habitat.
You do not need to pre-order a fire drum. There are plenty Fire Drums and they are hired out on a first come first served basis, weather depending.
Bishop’s Castle is a 10-minute walk along the Shropshire Way footpath, which runs trough the site. It will take minutes by car.
All well behaved owners are welcome to bring their dogs. Dogs are charged £1 per night. Please ensure you pick up
Day visitors must be pre-arranged with the owners. Day visitor’s charges are £4 per adult, £2 per child for up-to 4 hours. Any visitors staying over 4 hours will be charged full rate. When campsite is Fully Booked we will not accept day visitors.
