Do we have to book? Booking is essential on bank holidays (3 nights minimum) and Bishops Castle festivals(2 night minimum). It is recommended at high season. The rest of the year is usually fine.

When and how do we pay? Campers are to pay on arrival by cash or cheque. Cheques made payable to W Jones

How far is Bishops Castle? Bishop’s Castle is a 10 minutes walk along the Shropshire Way footpath.

Are dogs allowed? All well-behaved owners and supervised dogs are welcome. It is imperative that you clean up after your dogs. Dogs are charged £1.00 per night.Do not throw poobags in hedge place in the bin.

Can we have fires? All fires must have campsite owners’ permission. Fires must be raised, contained, supervised at all times, and must not burn the grass. The campsite does have limited fire drums to hire out and bags of logs for sale. Wood must never be sourced from hedgerows or natural habitats.Hire on first come first served basis but we have plenty, return all fire drums to shed.

Can we camp together? First come, first served. We have no fixed pitches; it is up to you to save a space for friends and family. We have 10 acres of camping so this is not a problem.

What time do we have to arrive/leave by? Arrivals after 11am departures by 2pm.

Can we have day Visitors? By prior arrangement only.Rate is £4 upto 4 hours. ANYTIME over 4 hours will be charged full camper rate. When campsite is ''Full''no visitors please.

Large groups?Are fine, but you may be asked for deposit on arrival.

We do not have electric hook-up. 

Bank holidays are 3 night minimum- 1st 2nd and 4th weekend in July and 3rd September are 2 night minimum due to high demand 

We don't charge for extra tents or gazebos or cars, but we do charge for babies.

All cabin deposits are non-transferable and non refundable. 

This is a family run campsite first not a business. Please don't expect corporate behavior from us we only expect respectfull and responsible  behavior from you.
